SOLAR GEYSERS

SOLAR GEYSERS
Author: KOBUS LABUSCHAGNE
Did you know that, South Africa has one of the highest levels of solar radiation in the world. The solar radiation of South Africa ranges from around 1450 kWh/m2 to about 1950 kWh/m2 per year, compared to Europe which on average is 910kWh/m2 per year. In today’s world, we can convert this freely available resource to serve our energy needs, such as water heating. Most of the countries in the world are trying to go green by using solar energy. Only countries with a hot climate can benefit from using solar power such as Germany, Israel, Canada, the USA and even Namibia are striding ahead. Solar geysers may not be affordable for the middle class people but in the long run it is worth installing one.
The reasons why solar water heating is getting popular is
ü  an increased drive to cleaner energy production;
ü  a greater awareness of climate change and the issues around global warming;
ü  and importantly for the home owner, the increasing reliability and effectiveness of residential solar water heaters.

Why not take advantage of this situation and look at our special offers on solar geysers.
