SLIDING GATES

SLIDING GATES
Sliding gates are slowly replacing the swing gates and the reason is the space it saves and usually a swing gate requires loads of space to operate. A sliding gate usually goes hand in hand with a gate motor. A sliding gate is very heavy to operate manually. Another important reason to have it automated is for security reasons. Properties in South Africa are built with driveway gates or garage doors, and this is to stop intruders from entering. Sliding gates are great, it is also ideal to have gate automation, for security and convenience reasons.  In South Africa most properties will have a sliding gate in place as a means of access control.
This entitles you to stop intruders. The sliding gates are made of a welded steel structure as per requirement and may be operated by an electro-mechanical or hydraulic motor, with facility of manual override. Sliding Garage doors come in different materials, such as wood, steel, and aluminum garage doors. A sliding gate is very convenient at a point whereby a number of vehicles can fit in and out at the same time during motion. A great advantage in using a sliding gate is the fact that when the road surface is inclined upwards, towards the inner or outer side, the sliding gate will open only outwards. They are also cantilevered, meaning the use of rails is minimized and helps cover uneven surfaces.

Sliding gates have a sensor control system and the dangers of you or your vehicle being harmed is safe. They are also safer to use and maintain. It is also difficult to operate a sliding gate manually unlike the swing gate. In other words you cant open it manually easier than a swing.
